05.24.2004 | oops…
oops, looks like i forgot to do my usual weekend entry! lol…nothin really interesting lately, i spent all day saturday sitting in my room trying to find someone to go to IKEA with…never ended up going.
sunday i went to ikea tho, bought a buncha cool stuff for my room. i’ll take pics later when my room’s all clean and stuff
i’m gettin an AC in my room today! wooohooo! i haven’t slept in my room since the warm weather hit cuz it’s WAAAAAYY too hot in there. it’s the only warm room in the house, which is good in the winter, but torture in the summer!
other than that, not much else new i don’t think, STUCO meeting after school, whopee..
I WANT POPTARTS! i’ve had the BIGGEST craving for poptarts for like a week now, after STUCO today i’m goin to buy some. strawvberry (the one with the icing and fun sprinkles) and hot fudge sundae. yep yep, that’s what i’m havin for dinner! lol
hmm…what else? i think that’s about it. i hafta go get something to wear for Turner’s sister’s bat mitzvah on saturday, what does one wear to a bat mitzvah? and i hafta get a gift….(what does one give the bat mitzvah person?) this should b interesting, i’ve never been to one of these things…
anyway…school’s almost over…i guess i’ll end here since i don’t have anything else to say, at least i don’t think i do. lol…thanks to all the commenters!

yep. prom was fun =o) i had a lot more fun than i expected to, i actually danced! 
lol…that’s about it tho, it was pretty cool.
then on saturday i decided to rearrange my room. that was fun =o) lol i like it a LOT better this way, it makes my room look SOOO much bigger. it’s harder to get in the door, but o well, it looks awesome this way! now i hafta stick some fun stuff up on the walls and stuff cuz i made more wall space.
other than that, not much else is new i don’t think….short blog today, lol. i caught up on most of my provance =o) and…that’s about it! lol

well…tonight is the junior prom! i’m gonna keep this entry really short cuz i have a manicure and i’m not very good @ typing with such long nails! lol
but yah…got my SAT score today..i went up 100 points in a month! i’m so happy! i think i’ll take it one last time next year just to see if i can get higher, but i’m kinda happy where i’m @ now, i have a good shot at a buncha good schools
so now i’m just sitting around waiting to go to my hair appointment @ 3….another hour! lol i feel like i’m not making good use of my time, but whatever…lol prom starts @ 8…so suj will b here around 6:30 then a bunch of us are goin to the park to take some pics and stuff then we’ll head over to the place that we’re havin our prom. i dunno if i’m excited…i don’t really like to dance and stuff, but i should b pretty fun!
ooo this week i decided to try out for Bye Bye Birdie, the summer play @ school. i was PETRIFIED cuz to audition u hafta get up on stage and sing a solo. if u know me u know i dno’t like to sing…cuz i can’t. i went on monday night cuz my friend forced me to. i sat around the whole time waiting for my turn, and when it finally came i chickened out and idn’t do it. i got really mad @ myself for bein such a chicken tho cuz i really wanted to b in the play, but i didn’t wanna sing by myself on stage in front of a lot of people i know, but i finally got up the guts and did it on tuesday night. i have NO idea where the voice came from, cuz i never sounded like that in my entire life, but it came out pretty good! i should find out if i got in the play or not by…tomorrow i think? at least it’ll b something for me to do over the summer, cuz i don’t think i got into that william & mary program (thankfully, i hate history! lol) so this should take up a good chunk of my vacation and i won’t just sit around the house and veg all day. i aways said i wanted to try out for a play, but i was always either too busy or too chicken, but i’m glad i ifnally did it! lol
so yah..that’s about it for the weekly blog! lol i can’t wait for sunday so i can sleep a lil! lol we might be goin to 6 flags tomorrow (it’ll b my 1st time on a roller coaster! ahh!) all next week is crazy…zootopia and student council elections on friday, and all sorts of other stuff…
summer can’t come quick enough!

05.07.2004 | weekend…thank god!
well…its the weekend again. god what a draining week this was! monday i had student council and stuff, then work, no big deal. then i hadta write an essay that took me FOREVER cuz i had no idea what i was doing to hand in on tuesday. tuesday was pretty much the same i think..i don’t really remmeber anything from it…feels like it was a month ago. wednesday i didn’t go to school cuz i had APs on thursday and i wanted to study for the history one…moron i am, i thought that thursday was the USAP exam…but noooo it was ENGLISH! and i didn’t find that til i walked in the morning of the test..good thing i wasn’t planning on studying for english anyway! so we took the test…there were 10 of us..all from Honors (geeks, i know) then we went to cafe for a period and just hung out til 6th period when i hadta go to spanish. we were supposed to watch a movie…but i kinda fell asleep..that test is SOOOOOOo draining…it just sucks the life outta ya! it’s not even that hard…well the english isn’t, but it’s just..long.
so i slept thru the entire period 6th and then 7th i had a study…which i was planning on sleepin in again, but i got called to my photography class for some good news. a pic i submitted to this newspaper contest won and i hadta do a lil interview ma bob and take a pic. now i’m in the running to win a free digicam and my pic is gonna b published in the jersey journal on monday. cool stuff. then last night and after school i hadta do some ambassador stuff AND of course watch the friends finale! i was HYSTERICAL crying! o man….it wasn’t the show that made me sad…lol it was the fact that it was over…i mean. the ending was kinda predictable, everyone knew ross and rachel would end up together…but the part that got me was @ the end when they started walking out to central perk for the last time and the panned the apartment with no furniture and stuff in it…i was BAWLING. i dunno what i’m gonna do on thursday nights now!
today was another AP….history this time obviously! lol i think i bombed it. history isn’t exactly my strong point. luckily tho, today the principal let the kids that took the AP go home early, so about 8 of us went out to eat and stuff…good times. then i went to work…and here i am now…exhausted and starving! lol
i just had a pizza delivered and i’m gonna veg in front of my TV and watch friends season 7 on DVD and that’s about it. i hafta go shopping tomorrow for a mothers day gift and do an essay cuz on sunday we’re goin down to my grandma’s house for mother’s day.
then the week begins again, only this week is prom week! AHHHHHhhh well, who knows what kinda time i’m gonna have next week to blog, it seems i’m on the weekend plan. lol thanks for commenting and all the good lucks on the SATs lol…scores come out on friday (the day of prom..how convenient :plain

well…another weekend down the tubes…lol
yesterday i took the SATs for the 2nd time, i hope i didn’t fnuck em up this time. 
i did decent last time, but definitely no where near i want to be. i think i did better on this one, the verbal section seemed a little TOO easy, which kinda scares me cuz maybe i just misinterpreted the whole thing? i’m usually awesome @ the verbal analogies tho, so we’ll see. scores are posted may 14 (the day of prom! lol)
what else? friday night i was @ work til late making up for the days i wasn’t there this week. then i remembered i had my camera in the trunk of my car…and i was pullin outta the parking lot @ work and the sky looked like it would have some awesome colors, so i decided to drive around and take some pics. i went to 16th street park..nothin good there, so i decided to go to Hudson County Park…got some decent shots too. i had 4 rolls that i hadta get developed so i ran up to CVS (also cuz i had SUCH a craving for a Dr. Pepper…but they didn’t have em!! so i went to 7-11..THEY didn’t have any either! so then i finally went to quick chek and got one..thank god! lol)
yesterday..took the SATs then went to get my prom dress measured cuz it hasta b takin in and crap. then i went up to broadway to find shoes..YAH RIGHT 
..ur lucky if u can find a white shirt in this town..SILVER SHOES…it’s impossible to find silver shoes! it’s not even a rare color! so i gave up and came home to amazon.com and ordered a pair from nordstroms. lets just hope they get in on time!
so i have a crapload of HW to do this weekend. i hafta write an essay for history…due on tuesday…argh…i also hafta read a buncha books (catcher in the rye…i’m still readin that one..it’s GOOD! lol i wanna finish it (1st time i wanna finish a book all year!)) then on wed i might be goin to the NJ National College Fair to see what’s up. it depends on how much work i hafta do @ school.
then…thurs and friday…APs… 
i’m taking english literature and US History…english i’m not worries about too much..but history..i don’t know what i was thinking! i SUCK at history! 
i don’t even do well on class tests…i dunno how the hell i’m gonna do an AP on it! i can’t remember all that crap! jeeez! it’s from like when the pilgrims came over til like NOW! no way….i’ll just take it and laugh..at least i get out of class for 1/2 the day.
i registered for the SAT IIs in june…i don’t know which ones i wanna take yet. collegeboard.com says u can change ur mind the day of the test and take a different one, so i just put in any 3, and i’ll make up my mind later. i’m debating on if i wanna take the math or not. i know i’ll hafta eventually, but i dunno if u should take it now or next year? so right now i’m registered for Writing, Literature, and US History (this history should be easier than the AP i hope!) 
so yah…that’s this week in a nutshell..next weekend i hafta do my last minute prom stuff - final fittings, get some jewelry or something and makeup and that sorta stuff…then the week after is prom…eep
ooo! i forgot to mention!! i’m runnin for student council president!! 
yep yep. vote for jenn (if u go to my school! lol) i’m runnin against this other kid that i went to LTC with last summer and who i’m goin to the National conference with this summer… so hopefully i’ll do well. elections are on May 21 (which sucks, cuz i was gonna take that day off cuz of Zootopia…but i guess i’ll just hafta go and rush to NYC to get there for the concert!)
Zootopia isn’t lookin too hot this year. it’s indoors 1st of all…tehre’s no trendfest…well there is, but it’s not in the same venue, which sucks. and there’s only like…8 performers…maybe even less…last year there were like 13!! and the tickets were a LOT more expensive…i don’t wanna NOT go…but i don’t really feel like its worth goin either. at least some good people will be there..maroon 5, liz phair…then some ghetto kinda performers (actually a bunch..i HATE rap…this is gonna b stupid)
anyway..that’s about it i think? i’m pretty much all caught up on my provance commenting so now i guess i’ll just start my HW…and clean my room…i haven’t seen the floor all week!
