Live Update!

07.08.2005 | all unpacked and stuff

well we’ve been here for just over a week and it feels like we’ve been here forever. it’s not too bad. nice and quiet… it’s been raining the past few days (which, of course, are my days off…go figure) so i’ve been chillin on my laptop playin the sims 2.
i finally got started on my summer reading. i just finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in Nighttime. it was a pretty good book. gave a lot of insight into how the mind of an autistic person might work. u should read it.
next on the list is probably going to be Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I wanted to read the Hitchhiker’s Guide, but my mom lost it in the move, so i’ll have to wait til it turns up or til i buy a new one.
i’ve started some dorm shopping…fun stuff.
i also found out who my roomie is next year. I’m not in the dorm i would have liked, but i’ll deal. i haven’t spoken to my roomie yet, she hasn’t even confirmed her Cornell email addy yet. but her name is Sarah and she’s from Illinois, so we’ll see. i might just end up all by my lonesome in the room if she doesn’t show up!
what else?? well i started work, i got pretty burnt the first few days, but now i’m just browning lol. it’s supposed to be REALLY hot on sunday, but i hope not.
but yeah…i don’t think i have anything left to say…
but just so i don’t forget, here’s a bit of my planned summer reading list:

The Ultimate Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Angels & Demons
Deception Point
Harry Potter 6
Catch 22
Things Fall Apart
A Tale of Two Cities
Digital Fortress
The Curious Incident of the Dog in Nighttime
and whatever else i find lol

so that’s it. thanks for visiting, thanks for commenting. ttyl!

Commenting with nothing actually to say. Well, if you’re looking for something to do you can fix up your CSS for the comment pages, because it’d not lookin’ too hot. I didn’t realize HP6 was even out yet… I may take some suggestions from your reading list :) Enjoy your tanning.
