one more day

Note: This post is old. I wrote it many years ago, before I knew the wonders of capital letters and full sentences. Since this is a journal of my life, I've chosen not to delete or hide these posts. They're my personal version of caveman drawings. I think they show how much I've grown and changed. Please keep that in mind if you decide to keep reading. Thanks and good luck!

well, tomorrow is my last full day @ home. leaving for school on thursday. i can’t believe how quickly this summer has gone. it’s been pretty productive. i think i’ve accomplished everything i wanted to. no regrets, just as it should be. I learned to sew (and sewed some pretty cool things, i might add!), i’ve read like crazy, i got a nice tan, i learned to love the ocean (imagine that!) and i’ve just relaxed.
here’s the books i ended up reading this summer:

Angels & Demons
Deception Point
Harry Potter 6
Things Fall Apart
Digital Fortress
The Curious Incident of the Dog in Nighttime
The Other Boelyn Girl
Romeo & Juliet
& 1/2 of A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I’m pretty impressed with myself, considering during the school year i’m totally anti-reading.
so now i’m just doing some last minute thigns. packing up, trying not to forget anything, last minute shopping, etc etc etc. shopping is getting to be a pain in my arse. we’ve been @ it for like…2 months! enough is enough already! i NEVER thought i’d get sick of dorm shopping!
I don’t know what to say about my feelings towards moving into college and stuff. i don’t really feel anything. it’s pretty surreal. like it’s not actually happening. i don’t know…it’s strange. i’m not even NERVOUS! (well, except for the part about classes!) it doesn’t even feel like i’m going to school! it’s kind of creeping me out! i’m sure it’ll hit me during the packing or the car ride. that’s what happened when we moved in june; i didn’t feel anything til we were done packing the truck.

but yeah, i still have lots to do before thursday. especially my summer HW! lol so i’m going to get back to that now. thanks for visiting. thanks for commenting! tty from cornell!
