rainy evening and cell phone troubles
I’ve added some new content pages here and there, updated some others, and neatened up a few things around here. Hope you enjoy them!
It’s raining like CRAZY out right now. It just got dead black all of a sudden and then started to thunder. I, of course, dug out the camera and set up the tripod at the front door. This was my first time using the camera in the dark like this, so I didn’t get any good shots really. The only one I actually kind of like is this one, and that’s just because I think the color and formation of the clouds is pretty cool. It’s dying down now, but the thunder is still going strong. I love summer storms!
In other news, my cell phone is on its last leg. It’s not holding a charge anymore and it needs a tuneup. My mom said if I wanted I could get a new one, possibly the RAZR. Does anyone have one? What do you think? How’s the reception? Reception is a big thing for me because I go to school in the middle of nowhere and I need my phone to work. What about other cell phones, any recommendations??
Following up on my last post, I’ve been making it a point for the past few days to get back in touch with people I used to talk to online. It’s not as easy as it sounds though. So many people don’t have their sites anymore, have changed their screennames, and have basically made it impossible for me to find them again! I think that’s about it for now? Not much new has happened these past few days. I might be going into my new internship tomorrow, it depends on how energetic I’m feeling. Tuesday there are supposed to be fireworks for the 4th of July on the boardwalk, so I might go up and try to get pictures. Unfortuantely the camera store was out of cable releases, so I’m going to have to resort to taking pictures with the regular shutter button and hoping it all goes well. I’ll post some if I get any good results!

I go to school in the middle of nowhere, too, and my cheap little LG has okay reception. I guess it depends what plan you’re on (I’m on Cingular).
I’d love to IM you, but I don’t have MSN on the computer I’m using this summer, and I really shouldn’t install it, as it’s not mine. Grrr. I’ll try to remember to add you.
Summer storms are the best kind. I wish it’d rain here, it’s so hot & humid out. Very disgusting.
I love Summer storms too! It just got really dark like that earlier here, and it stormed for a bit, but it passed right by. The storms hit north of us unfortunately. Poo. We had a good one yesterday though. hehe. I enjoy taking pictures of storms as well.

It rains here everyday in the afternoons – typical Florida. Bleh. That vexel of Alicia keys is amazing – WOW! That girl is extremely talented. I work at an animal hospital and one of the doctors I work with graduated from Cornell. There are a couple of people through the years that I have lost contact with on the internet and I too wish that I could find them. So you are a Gilmore Girls/Jess addict? Nice to find a fellow obsessor. (hehe) I wish Rory would end up with Jess – he is the one for her. Your photographs are beautiful, especially the one of the yellow and pinkish flower up close. I love that the most. Anyway, I am going to go, but you take care.
Gah, its been raining here like crazy…summer storms are amusing though. And I totally want a Razr as well. They just seem so sleek and spiffy looking. Too tempting.

My cell phone works pretty much anywhere except for my campus. I don’t plan on buying a new phone until mine dies or for another year and a half when our current contract expires again. Had it for 2 1/2 years now. I researched for months to find the perfect phone, I couldn’t abandon it! :P
