11.27.2006 | Back to school….
Blah. I REALLY shouldn’t have avoided my work like the plague over Thanksgiving! Not much time to blog today, just wanted to post my Daily Queries (because I forgot yesterday’s).
The Daily Query for 11/26: What is one (tangible) thing you couldn’t live without? Why is that thing so important? This is a really tough one. I could probably live without my laptop, but I’d prefer not to 
Today’s Daily Query: What do you think of “Cyber Monday”? Will you be participating? I think Cyber Monday is an interesting concept. I think to create an entirely new ‘Hallmark Day’ based on just one year of sales spike is a little strange, but with all the hype they’re giving it this year, I’m sure it will spike again. Personally, I don’t plan to buy anything today. Not because I don’t agree with it or anything like that, just because I don’t have time to sit at my computer and hunt out deals today. I also don’t know what I want to get anyone yet. It’s still a bit too early for Christmas shopping for me.

11.25.2006 | Last Day Home…
Well it’s my last day at home. I can’t believe how quickly this week flew! I didn’t get a THING done for school. Yep… I’m going to be in for a rude awakening come tomorrow night. I’m just getting a few last minute things done on random projects while watching my mom decorate the house for Christmas. She won’t turn the lights on for another few weeks, but she likes to get them up while it’s still relatively warm out.
Other than that I’m basically done with playing around with this layout. I have a few minor things I’d like to tweak, like the title font and placement, but the majority of it is done. Thanks for dealing with my mess of a site over the past 72+ hours while I get everything back the way it normally is. Please let me know if you come across any errors or have any suggestions, though!
So that mini project I was talking about in my last blog is The Daily Query. It’s basically question or some questions I’ll post daily for others to answer. It’s kind of an extended version of what I did for my Thanksgiving entry. Check it out and subscribe!
Onto today’s Daily Query: If you had a choice between a pet monkey and a pet koala, which would you choose?
It’s really a tough decision. I think it would strongly depend on what kind of monkey I would get. I like some monkeys, like chimps, but I don’t want a gorilla. I think overall though, I’d definitely go for the monkey. As cute as koalas are (is koalas the plural of koala?) they just don’t have as much potential for a personality as monkeys do.

I finally got rid of the template. I decided to try to modify K2 a bit. There’s still a lot to be done, but I’m dead tired. More tomorrow hopefully! Nite!

11.24.2006 | Where Is Everyone?!
Ok, I must be the most pathetic person ever because I seem to be the only person online today! I guess everyone’s out doing their Black Friday shopping or something because my Feeds are slower than ever! It could be that I have more free time to read my feeds today than I normally do, so I can catch them as soon as they come in, but the only ones that seem to be running today are the larger blogs like Engadget, Lifehacker, and a TINY bit of Cute Overload. I’m bored out of my mind!
I did just buy a new domain though for a mini-project I’m working on that shouldn’t require much maintenance or anything. I’m waiting for it to propagate right now, but it should be up in a day or two. I’ll post the URL once it’s done.
Yepp… so…. that’s about it. My mom and I got up to do the Black Friday thing but then realized we don’t actually need anything. I’ve been up since 4AM and I’ve completely run out of things to do. Strike that - I’ve run out of things that I WANT to do. I have a ton of school work that I should probably catch up on while I’m sitting here, but who wants to do school work on the day after Thanksgiving? Not me, that’s for sure!
Well, back to my random browsing of the web. Hopefully this domain will propagate quickly so I have something to occupy my time for the rest of the day!
