A community manager is essential in pretty much any social business these days. You really need someone to stoke and keep alive your community. Seth is a marketer, so he focused on outbound marketing, but I think it’s also about making a high quality community within your product. (the best photos on flickr, the best dialogue on a forum, etc). Truly a cool job and a great way to become essential to the company you work for.
